June 2011 Parent Resource Information

The Minnesota Department of Health and Department of Public Safety have launched the codeReady emergency preparedness campaign in Minnesota. In the wakes of September 11 and Hurricane Katrina, emergency preparedness has become a significant issue nationwide. Check out their website (www.codeReady.org) to customize a plan and a kit for your family. Some emergencies/disasters that could affect Minnesota residents are disease outbreaks, terrorist incidents, fire, weather, etc. See a full list on the website as well as other resource information.

There is a wonderful website out there called www.momtalk.com that we encourage you to check out. This website is filled with resources for parents. It includes information such as recipes, activities, health information, relationship information, and being able to share information with other parents.
